Ben Davies is the Executive Director of the Johnson & Johnson Global Community Impact Group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. In his role, Ben is responsible for the delivery of Johnson & Johnson’s Global Community Impact strategy in EMEA and for realizing its vision of supporting and championing the people at the front lines of delivering care.

Ben is a seasoned corporate social responsibility professional with close to 20 years’ experience spanning a career working for leading organisations across the private, public and non-profit sectors. Having started his working life as a frontline educator working with young people with learning difficulties, Ben has over the years built a career designing, facilitating, managing and implementing partnerships with some of the world’s largest (and smallest) NGO’s to achieve social and sustainable change and impact.

In 2013, Ben joined Johnson & Johnson as Partnership Director where he was tasked with creating a new partnership strategy which included developing integrated program portfolios with flagship partners and introducing a co-funding strategy with the Johnson & Johnson Operating Companies in the EMEA region.

In 2015, during the onset of the humanitarian refugee crisis as a consequence of the civil war in Syria, Ben was instrumental in coordinating Johnson & Johnson’s response the crisis working initially with long standing partner, Save the Children for humanitarian support. Since the end of 2016 under Ben’s guidance, this support has evolved to more long-term programming supporting health and education systems (especially within mental health and early childhood development) in the neighbouring countries of Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey working with Save the Children and the International Pediatric Association.

Ben holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the Brussels School of International Studies (University of Kent at Canterbury), is a Board Member of CSR Europe (the leading European business network for corporate social responsibility); and represents Johnson & Johnson in a number of external fora.
