Senior Manager, Programming & Government Affairs

As Senior Manager of Programming & Government Affairs, Ashley is based in Washington, D.C. – socializing Concordia and recruiting speakers from the House, Senate, U.S. Administration, and international embassies. Ashley also assists the Director of Programming in coordinating all aspects of our Summits throughout the year, including the development and execution of Summit sessions and day-to-day operations. Specifically, Ashley leads on all details surrounding the Concordia’s Americas and Europe initiatives.

Prior to Concordia, Ashley most recently worked as a Policy Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Deputy Director of Scheduling to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy. She specializes in strategic engagement, government affairs, detailed logistics and operations, and improvement of streamlined processes. Ashley discovered Concordia’s mission while advancing the 2019 Concordia Americas Summit in Bogotá for Secretary of Energy Rick Perry. 

Now with over 6 years of experience in D.C., Ashley grew up in the New Orleans area, graduating from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. She also has a graduate degree in Autism Spectrum Disorders from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA and passionately strives to create a more inclusive and accessible Summit experience with more programming around intellectual and physical disabilities.
