Ambassador April H. Foley served as First Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States from 2003 to 2005. Ambassador Foley held several positions at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. She served as the United States Ambassador to Hungary from 2006 to 2009. She is a distinguished business leader with 20 years of management experience in both the private sector and in the non-profit arena. She has extensive knowledge of international affairs, including the international financial system. She was director of strategy for Reader’s Digest Association, Inc. She spent 17 years at PepsiCo, Inc., where she was director of business planning (from 1981 to 1993) and corporate strategy. She also held positions at Wilson Sporting Goods and Pfizer, Inc. Ambassador Foley served as the President of the United Way of Northern Westchester in New York, and was a member of the board of directors for Policy Review Institute for Dispute Resolution in New York, NY. She has been a Director of Xerium Technologies Inc. since May 25, 2010. She served as a Director of Export-Import Bank of the United States. She has been a Director of Vista Outdoor Inc. (formerly-Alliant Techsystems Inc.) since February 2015. She served as an Independent Director of Orbital ATK, Inc. from August 3, 2010 to February 9, 2015. She has held volunteer leadership positions at the Northern Westchester Shelter, of Pleasantville, NY, Smith College, Harvard Business School, and St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Bedford, NY. Ambassador Foley holds a master of business administration from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Smith College.
