Concordia culminated two days of impactful and engaging dialogues with an awards ceremony that recognized the manifestation of leadership and collaboration in action. The Concordia Awards honored the 2016 recipients of the Concordia Leadership Award and the P3 Impact Award. Award recipients reflect the Concordia model of maximizing effective partnerships that generate a substantial social impact.
The 2016 Concordia Leadership Award recognizes global leaders within the public, private, and nonprofit sectors who inspire others through their ability to turn vision into impact. Recipients of the award reflect a commitment to positive social and economic change while promoting effective public-private collaboration to create a more prosperous and sustainable future.
The P3 Impact Award recognizes highly effective public-private partnerships that have led to positive social impact. This annual award is presented by Concordia, the U.S. Department of State Secretary’s Office of Global Partnerships, and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business Institute for Business in Society (IBiS) at the Concordia Awards. In addition to raising awareness of cross-sector collaboration, the award and its accompanying publication help identify leading practices, deliver practical learning, and generate a database of information relevant to public-private partnerships.
