Following impactful editions in Guyana and Ecuador, this year’s Summit once again convened a select group of cross-sector leaders for a unique program focused on sustainable development, regional collaboration, and market-driven solutions in the Amazon Basin.
This immersive gathering explored three central themes: Sustainability & Climate Leadership, Partnerships & Community Engagement, and Innovation & Nature-Based Solutions. Programming highlights included:
Sunday, July 6
Welcome reception and dinner hosted by Governor Helder Barbalho.
Monday, July 7
Opening plenary on nature-driven, market-led solutions; Do-Tank workshops on forest conservation and green financing; site visit to Ilha do Combu.
Tuesday, July 8
Discussion led by a Summit partner, followed by Do-Tank workshops on Indigenous partnerships and sustainable eco-tourism. All programming and lunch took place at Mangal das Garças.
Wednesday, July 9
Visit to a Coca-Cola facility, followed by the closing plenary session and final dinner.
