Concordia’s Leadership Council is comprised of former heads of state, leaders of industry, and policy experts with practical experience at every level of government and business. By offering strategic guidance, expanding our community, and advising programming, the Leadership Council contributes to all areas of our ever-growing organization.
Chaired by Dr. Eduardo Padrón, Ph.D., President Emeritus, Miami Dade College, the Nominations Committee oversees the review and approval of new Leadership Council Members, Senior Advisors, and Advisors each year. Concordia’s Board of Directors, Leadership Council, Senior Advisors, and Advisors are invited to submit nominations for the Leadership Council and Advisor Program.
Chaired by Anita McBride, Former Assistant to President George W. Bush & Chief of Staff to First Lady Laura Bush, the Leadership Awards Committee votes on and selects the recipients of the annual Concordia Leadership Award.
Each year, Concordia’s Board of Directors, Leadership Council, Senior Advisors, and Advisors submit nominations for the Leadership Award. The Leadership Award is presented to each recipient during the Concordia Annual Summit.
