Ryan Johnson leads the Office of Strategic Partnerships at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). He is responsible for MCC’s vision, strategy, capabilities, and metrics related to cross-sector partnerships and cultivates collaborative and co-investment partnerships in areas such as data and digital technology, physical infrastructure development, education, workforce development and livelihoods, health, and women’s economic empowerment.

Prior to MCC, Ryan served on the leadership team for Accenture Development Partnerships, Accenture’s impact consulting practice serving over 125 international NGOs, UN agencies, Donors, Foundations and Companies. While at Accenture Ryan helped facilitate numerous international development and global business partnerships, including The One Billion Coalition, the Global Resilience Partnership, and the Partnership for an HIV-Free Generation. Ryan served a two-year secondment at Catholic Relief Services, where he led CRS’s corporate partnerships and foundation fundraising and relationship management. Ryan also led CRS’s entry into impact investing, including design and management of the first Vatican Impact Investing Conference.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from Georgetown University and a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he was named a Lucius N. Littauer Fellow and member of the Harvard Corporate Social Responsibility Scholars & Practitioners Network. Ryan has worked and traveled in more than 50 countries.
