Letty Ashworth is Director, Global Diversity for Delta Air Lines.  In this role, she is a key leader in Delta’s global strategy to  develop an efficient, effective, and diverse workforce that reflects the rapidly changing demographics of an increasingly interconnected world.

She works closely with various Delta business units on recruiting efforts to ensure Delta is an employer of choice for diverse talent, including the company’s efforts in recruiting and supporting veterans. Those recruiting efforts include the company’s major commitment to support veterans and advocate on behalf of issues that are important to Delta employees and their families living with disabilities.

Under her leadership, Delta’s seven Employee Network Groups have continued to grow and are a vibrant part of Delta’s culture.  Along with other leaders, Letty has been instrumental in the growth of the RISE mentoring program, including its expansion to Asia and other regions.  Responding to employee input, Letty has also helped facilitate the recent expansion of the Delta Wrenched Hearts support group from its roots in Tech Ops into a company-wide network.

Delta’s Speaker’s Series events have reached thousands of employees, provoking thought and discussion on topics important to Delta associates.  Letty’s reputation and constant work on behalf of Delta have helped her attract stellar speakers for this important program. .   She has also led Delta’s efforts to implement a strong commitment in the area of combatting human trafficking, becoming a nationally sought after speaker on this topic and has given testimony to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs in support of Delta Air Lines commitment to address the issue.
