Jesus Madrazo is Vice President of Corporate Engagement at Monsanto Company, a leading global provider of technology-based solutions and agricultural products that help farmers have better harvests while using water and other important resources more efficiently. In his current role, Jesus is responsible for leading the company’s global marketing and communications functions, as well as the outreach efforts of its Stakeholder Engagement, Sustainability and Partnerships teams. Over his career at Monsanto, Jesus has held leadership roles for a variety of the company’s businesses, including operations for Central America, Caribbean and Andean Countries, based in Columbia; Latin America North operations, based in Mexico City; and International Row Crops business operations, based in St. Louis, Missouri. Jesus joined Monsanto as Legal Director for Latin America North in 1999. Prior to joining Monsanto, Jesus worked as legal counsel and lecturer in Mexico and the U.S.; his professional experience includes Banamex, TAMSA and the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade. Jesus holds a legal degree from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, and has received post-legal degrees from UNAM and the University of Arizona, as well as an MBA from the Cardiff Business School in the United Kingdom. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Monsanto Fund, the Guardian Angel Settlement Association and the United Way Multicultural Leadership Society of St. Louis, and is Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Global Harvest Initiative. Jesus and his wife, Karla, have three children, Jesus, Andres and Valentina, and reside in St. Louis, Missouri.
